In VOID by Véronique Langlott, the audience enters a ball of white balloon silk and is immersed in a multimedia, choreographic installation of dance, light and sound. In it, a space of possibility is created in which ever new media combinations emerge and disappear again. The space appears in ever "new light", plays with the delusion and illusion of perception and confronts us with thinking of perspective as moving, as something constantly changing, always emerging anew.
VOID is part of the research THREADS OF PIECECS OF DANCESwhich deals with the potential of the image, reproduction as repetition with difference and its inherent creative-innovative potential. In Véronique Langlott's works, questions of representation, original and copy, repetition and difference as well as translation processes are meticulously negotiated and manifested in multimedia pieces.
