TASKS:
As part of her project Choreographic Architectures, I supported the choreographer Sasha Amaya with production assistance, communication & outreach, and an interview was created between us, which was published on the platform STREAM.
INTENTION:

CHOREOGRAPHING ARCHITECTURES is a research and creation project by Sasha Amaya that brings together architects and choreographers to discuss ideas about space, materiality, process and purpose. By combining her dual backgrounds in these disciplines, Amaya engages in dialogue: How can these two disciplines enter into dialogue with each other?

CONCLUSIONS:

In addition to the four performances, there was also a programme of public events to explore the interstices between architecture and dance, as well as the act of seeing and feeling, and to consider different ways to approach this theme together.

In addition, I also supported Sasha Amaya with her next project "Solo For Boy", which premiered on 11.01.2024 at Dock11. The collaboration with Sasha, her determination and clear vision in choreographic work as well as her conceptual and discursive knowledge impressed me very much.
