Category:

Project Type:
Teaching
INSTITUTION:

DATE:
Nov. 2018 - Aug. 2020
CONTRIBUTIONS:
Research - Conception - Communication - Implementation - Teaching - Training
TASKS:
Conception and implementation of yoga classes for different levels, as drop-in classes or consecutive. Often with a thematic focus.
INTENTION:

Inspired by dance, I teach a flowing Vinyasa style that focuses on the transitions of the asanas and individual breathing rhythms. To deepen the awareness of the body in movement, we also pause to focus on proper alignment. The goal is a rhythmic, meditative flow of movement that anchors us in the here and now, quiets our thoughts, helps us build confidence, and allows openness for change to emerge.

CONCLUSIONS:

I have been practicing yoga regularly since 2009 and completed a basic training in Hatha Yoga at the World Yoga Alliance (India) in 2014. I attend ongoing training at Yellow Yoga, Spirit Yoga Berlin, and others.

So far I have taught in a solidarity yoga project (Soli Yoga) in Hamburg and in the studio Yogasense in Berlin, as well as at Tanzfabrik Berlin.

INVOLVED PEOPLE:
Collaboration with changing partners, among others with Andrés Andrade (tripsitterklang), Lisa Stopik (Yogasense), Annica Bauer (SoliYoga)
